Marriage is a sacred covenant, to be entered into only after careful consideration and must be held in great honour. The marriage vows are of all, most solemn. They constitute vows not only between a man and a woman in the presence of witnesses, but vows made before God the Creator and Giver of Life. God instituted the marriage covenant when he said “This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.” It is with this understanding that we perform the marriage ceremony. We would ask that each of you separately complete the following questions which will assist us in the required three to five marriage prep sessions. You will be advised after the first session whether or not the church and minister are available for your wedding.
